The gadget shown in Fig. 1 comes in handy whenever an open-wire feedline has to be suprted at a point or points between the antenna and the shack. Large screw hooks are, obtained, and an ordinary glass insulator is clamped within each hook. The feeders are then threaded through the ends of the insulator which serves as both spreader and support.
